The PERFECT Nude Lip

I absaloutely love nude lipsticks and I definitely think that they're a staple of my makeup collection. I find that they compliment my skin tone and work well at making my makeup seem put together in a more subtle, natural way. I've put together a collection of my faves that I couldn't do without!

1. MAC Pure Zen (cremesheen) - So I have included two MAC lipsticks. The first is the in the shade Pure Zen and is a cremesheen. As with basically every single MAC lipstick, the scent is AMAZING! The lipsticks in this collection are also quite moisturising and not really intense and heavy, so the formula is super nice to have on your lips, and feels lush! The colour of this lipstick is a pale, blossom pink with warm tones. You can buy it here.

2. Better than Bare, Next - The second one is one I bought from Next. Although I've never bought makeup from there before, I couldn't resist the colour of this lipstick. It has a sort of sand-coloured undertone, whilst still being a simple nude, that's slightly bronzy. The formula is slightly thick, so I prefer to wear this on top of a generous slathering of lip balm! You can buy it here.

3. Dusty Nude, Alverde - This third lipstick is from an all-natural brand which I really like. Makeup means were always using products all over our skin, so I welcome any opportunity to use natural things as an alternative. Although the first appearance of the lipstick seems fairly rosy and pink, when applied it came out as more of a shimmery lipstick with a subtle pink hue. This, I find is so good if you want a little something on your lips, but not huge, obvious amounts of product. You can buy it here.

4. MAC Pure Pout (mineralize) - The other MAC lipstick that I've included was the first MAC product that I ever bought, but I just love this lip product! It has a very slight purple hue to the beige pink lipstick, however this lipstick is super nourishing and not highly pigmented, so it adds a simple nude sheen to your lips! I also like to pair this with the other MAC lipstick and put this one on top! You can buy it here.

5. Hoola Ultra Plush, Benefit - This final one is actually a lipgloss. I love Benefit so much, but this lipstick has to be one of my favourite products of theirs. This has a more brownish/gold-nude glossy colour, rather than a strong, pigmented colour, so this is perfect for layering on top of another nude lipstick. I got this in a set of Hoola products, so the product is definitely really good for achieving a sun-kissed look for summer, if you are on holiday, ir if you just want to bronze up your everyday makeup!
