Prom dress guide

With tons and tons of dresses in basically every single style, colour, shape and fit as you could ever imagine, it's hard to find that perfect dress. The prom season is also getting closer and closer, so I've put together a selection of dresses I love.

1. Sabo Skirt, $98 AUD (roughly £60)

This first one has such a beautiful colour! It gives off a kind of glowy, bronzy feel and would look so pretty with shimmery flats or nude heels and some simple gold or silver bracelets. The back adds some extra detailing too, and the price is amazing for a prom dress!

2. Boohoo, £25

This one has such a pretty deep reddish colour. The lace works so well and makes it that little bit extra, especially with the slight sheeness at the top and very bottom. The dress will also give you a lovely shape, especially with the high neck!

3. Chi Chi, £64.99

The dress has the most beautiful shape, with the bottom having this huge, super pretty round shape as well as the halter-neck style - but my favourite part is the back! The colour is also so cute and looks amazing with the silky fabric. The dress would be so cute with a pair of straps heels and a simple wavy curl in you hair!

4. BHLDN, $220 (roughly £175.49)

So this is just a skirt, but it is so so beautiful! It comes in three colours but I love the pink and bluish ones. The skirt looks super flowy and long and can be dressed up or down depending on how formal your prom is. It would also look super cute with either a soft, cream scrappy top (like on the website) or with a lacy or sequin top, and it gives off a slight vintage vibe. Plus, no one will have anything like it!

5. Lipsy, £80

This dress is so simple yet so beautiful. Its not over the top or super glitzy, but that's what I love about it. Little bits of detail, like the scrappy back and pattern at the front give a really elegant look. This would look really pretty with open-toe slip-on heels in black!
