So recently I got my hands on Samsung's amazing fitness watch the Gear Fit 2. I am really trying to improve my fitness and health at the moment and I was so excited about the prospect of this gadget helping me!

Firstly I'm gonna talk about how it feels to use and wear the watch. It has a thick kind of silicone strap which has many holes to fasten it meaning that a wide range of sized wrists will find it fits perfectly! I found it surprisingly comfortable considering I am not the kind of person to enjoy wearing watches 24/7. The touch screen suprised me too. I was expecting the screen to be difficult to swipe but in fact it is really sensitive and responds really quick.
So what does it do? You can track so many things such as the amount of steps you take, the number of stairs you take and how long you have been active. You can even have it measure and record your heart rate throughout the day. I find this really insightful as you can have it measured when you are unaware so it is a really true reading. I also added the options to record my water intake and display the weather. You can also add caffiene records and step tracker "together" which records the amount of steps you AND your friend takes.

NEGATIVES:
It is really hard to find any negatives but I have to say the calorie record is a bit confusing and doesn't make sense. I found that even when I have a relatively inactive day it shows around 1000 kcal which I assume is the calorie content I have burned? - not possible on a day like that!
POSITIVES:
My favourite features of this watch is that I can turn on my spotify music on my phone from my watch as well as skip the songs and change the volume. There is also a timer which means when I am doing my workouts and want to do an exercie for 2 minutes, I can set the timer without affecting the music and it will vibrate on my wrist to let me know the time is up - still without affecting my music which would usually happen when using a timer on my phone
I hope this helps any of you who were debating whether or not to invest in a fitness watch and which one to go for. This gadget is great motivation to do more exercise and be generally healthier! What helps motivate you the most to stay fit and work out? What are your fitness products that you can't live without?
